URZILA CARLSONis a multi-award winning South African-New Zealand comedian and entertainer. Urzila had a blistering 2019 which saw herNETFLIXdebut form part of the streaming service’s unprecedented stand-up comedy event series. Urzila was one of 47 comedians handpicked from around the world and had her first solo full hour NETFLIXspecial recorded in Melbourne in December 2019.

Urzila also cleaned up the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2019, taking out theMICF People’s Choice Awardformost tickets sold across the festival. Carlson is a much-loved series regular on Network Ten’s smash-hit panel show,Have You Been Paying Attention?!in Australia, as well as NZ’s new edition of the show.

Urzila continues to sell out her seasons in Australia and New Zealand, and the awards stack up year after year. Most recently she was awarded the2019 Rielly Comedy Awardby theVariety Artists Club of NZ. In 2018 she was a nominee for Australia’sHelpmann AwardforBest Comedy Performer, and she took out the2017Sydney Comedy Festival’s Director’s Choice Award. In New Zealand, Urzila has won theNew Zealand Comedy Guild’s Best Female Comedianawardsix times, as well as the covetedPeople’s Choice Awardat theNew Zealand International Comedy Festivaltwo years in a row.

Since signing a record deal at 16, FINN ANDREWS and his band THE VEILS have released 5 albums together, appeared in David Lynch's reboot of Twin Peaks, as well as on soundtracks by luminary film directors Tim Burton and Paolo Sorrentino, and was also recently been commissioned by the Belgian government to write a 20-minute orchestral piece to commemorate the antipodean dead of World War I. It was while writing 2016’s critically acclaimed Total Depravity that the New Zealand-raised musician realized a different streak was beginning to emerge. Fuelled by the end of a relationship, Andrews took some time out from London and from The Veils, and returned to New Zealand to begin work on his first solo album, One Piece At A Time. One Piece At A Time is more personal and self-exploratory than anything Andrews has previously attempted, an effort he says that wasn’t necessarily deliberate but more a result of circumstance. Recorded entirely live at The Lab in Auckland, and engineered and co-produced by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins).

Don’t delay in grabbing your tickets – with the first two instalments of Together Again selling out within a matter of days, this third weekend is sure to do the same.
