Heavy riffs, soaring vocals and relentless grooves rain over you as Brisbane four-piece Street Pieces deliver a hard-hitting Rock overload infused with blues and charisma.

Since forming in 2013, Street Pieces (Ben Tilney – vocals, Alex Miller - guitar, Jon Mengede – bass, Marcus McLachlan – drums) have asserted themselves as an Alternative Rock powerhouse with a stellar track record of collaborations and milestones, delivering breakdown-laden 70’s Metal/Blues Rock with every experience.

Street Pieces debuted with their EP ‘The Other Side’ in 2014, recorded with ARIA award winning producer Magoo (Regurgitator), and a year of touring the East Coast circuit. In 2015, they returned to the studio with Jeff Lovejoy (Powderfinger) to record and release their singles ‘Sacrifice’ and ‘Bad Kind of Woman’ – these songs marking the shift to a heavier sound for the band. With a music video and mini tour for the lead single ‘Monster’, 2018 saw Street Pieces release their six track sophomore EP ‘Everything You Ever Wanted’; followed by more recording with ARIA producer Govinda Doyle (Dead Letter Circus, Angus and Julia Stone) and the release of singles ‘Cthulhu’ and ‘One for the Road’ in 2019. Oozing with groove and a wicked rock attitude, ‘One for the Road’ is the band’s third track over the years to hit Triple M’s airwaves.

Street Pieces have rocked a myriad of venues including Brisbane staples The Triffid, Woolly Mammoth, The Zoo and The Outpost Bar; and have toured North Queensland, the Southern Downs and the East Coast to venues such as Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice (Sydney), The Northern (Byron Bay), Wharf Tavern (Sunshine Coast) and Molly Malone’s (Townsville). The band has played alongside esteemed acts including Wolfmother, Shihad (NZ), The BellRays (USA), Uncanny X-Men, The Radiators and Richie Ramone, as well as Brisbane locals Osaka Punch, WAAX and Golden Age of Ballooning; and have brought their impressive live energy to festival line-ups at Mojo Burning 2018 and Wallapalooza 2019.

“Part burly rock stomper, part groove-train skidding into a slice of 70’s metal, there’s an undeniable stamp of where Street Pieces are at in their current form – and it’s a tasty place indeed.”

“This is the best band I've heard in a long time. The music is timeless, could be from any decade. There's actual beauty in Nick's voice, and wrenching and powerful in full flight never losing the sensitivity and longing. Soul/rock at it's best”

- Robert James, GANGgajang

Born out of an eclectic combination of indie, smooth jazz and pop, Vaguefun are a Brisbane band with a bright, infectious sound that has to be played on repeat.

Ending up in the same music class they formed a band at the age of 14 and started performing and writing in their spare time. Three years later they released their first single, 'The Way She Moved' in 2018 to critical acclaim (at least their mum said it sounded good). In May of 2019, Vaguefun released their first official single, Out of My Head, inspired by relationship ups and downs. In 2020, Vaguefun continues to make music together and released their second single, Don’t Take It Out on Me, on May 22nd 2020
