The Thomas Foods International Port Lincoln Cup Prelude race is run over 1750m and has prize money of $26,800, a beautiful trophy rug for the winning horse and a magnificent Cup for the trainer, jockey and connections.

The winner of this race automatically qualifies for the Port Lincoln Cup 1950m on Friday March 5th.  The ever-popular $50,000 MGA Insurance Group Port Lincoln Cup is Eyre Peninsula’s feature race on the racing calendar.
