Round out your Light Walk experience with the ultimate night cap at the all new Vivid Sydney Supper Club. From 10pm ‘til late on Friday and Saturday nights during the festival, Mary’s Underground is transformed into an intimate cabaret club. Your lovable uber-diva host Trevor Ashley has curated a program of acclaimed headliners alongside top flight jazz, cabaret, burlesque and comedy acts. He’ll leave the Stage Door ajar in case special guests drop by for an impromptu jam. Expect unexpected live performances until the wee hours. Snuggle into the cosiest place in town and take your Vivid trip to the next level – subterranean style.

After curating the Vivid Sydney Supper Club series, actor, writer, director and International Queen of Cabaret Trevor Ashley takes a star turn in the Supper Club spotlight. This multi-threat is renowned for his uproarious adults-only panto The Bodybag, directing the musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert, his directorial debut of Heathers: The Musical, his Shirley Bassey tribute national symphony tour of Diamonds Are for Trevor, starring in The Lyin’ Queen, and for founding the Sydney International Cabaret Festival in 2019 and serving as its Artistic Director. “Aussie drag legend” (Sunrise, 7) Trevor gives us the full force of his cult of personalities in this high-kicking, comic extravaganza.

Make Vivid Sydney Supper Club your downtown destination for more headline performances from Mahalia Barnes (Fri 27 May), Tim Freedman (Sat 28 May), Bob Downe (Fri 3 June), Emma Pask (Sat 4 June), Ursula Yovich (Fri 10 June), Paul Capsis (Sat 11 June), and Genevieve Lemon (Fri 17 June) plus loads of surprise performances each night.
