“If lockdown has taught us anything, it’s how incredibly patient and loyal our friends are. We’re blown away that you're still with us after three postponed dates, and still demanding A BETTER FUTURE. We've worked hard to bring you a really special show, with our friend Ash Davies on drums, and everybody's favourite chamber Eno ensemble, Oblique Strategies. Give us your hands! You're not alone. Sunday November 14, 5.30pm.” –The Thin White Ukes

The Thin White Ukes - "A Better Future" album launch

with special guests Oblique Strategies

The songs of David Bowie are much loved and often performed but rarely with the heartfelt beauty, acoustic subtlety and creative flair The Thin White Ukes bring to their hero's six-decade catalogue.

A Better Future is their second album of Bowie classics and obscurities, produced by Shane O'Mara, and lovingly arranged for small, precision strings and breathtaking three-part vocal harmony.

Distinguished drummer Ashley Davies will augment the elegantly attired trio for this very special album launch event.

Opening the show is Melbourne's favourite acoustic Brian Eno tribute ensemble, Oblique Strategies.

"A new standard of what to expect from this humble instrument" — Steve Kilbey
