The birth of 2019 resurrects the melody of arguably the best of the best of Madchester music as we celebrate 30 years of the self-titled album The Stone Roses!

After selling out Sydney’s opera house 3 times in a row it’s no secret that Sydney’s love for the Stone Roses is alive and well. Playing tribute to the eponymous album in its entirety on the night is Stone Roses tribute band ‘The Stone Rozes’. The Stone Rozes blew the crowd away at our Bez event in Melbourne last year and we’re delighted to have them on board for their first Sydney show. 

Warming up proceedings and taking you into the early hours will be Step On DJ’s delivering on all your favourite Britpop bangers and Madchester anthems. Our resident DJ's will be spinning tunes by bands such as:

‘Step On’ is Sydneys Authentic Madchester, Brit-Pop, Indie and Alternative Club Night. Founded in Sydney June 2016, the event has established itself as a popular club night sharing the love for one of Britain’s greatest eras for music.

‘Step On’ continues to bring people together from all across Sydney and Melbourne to celebrate a youth culture that took the UK by storm during the 1980’s through to the late 90’s - when bands like The Smiths, Joy Division, The Stone Roses, Happy Monday’s and Oasis dominated the music scene.
