The Running Joke, Sydney’s #1 Comedy Night on TripAdvisor, has teamed up with Yours and Owls to bring a night of stand-up comedy to Canberra on Saturday June 26th.

Headlining we’ve got one of Australia’s hottest up-and-coming musical comedians in Sarah Gaul. She’s the star of critically acclaimed film ‘Hot Mess’ on Netflix, she’s appeared on Tonightly with Tom Ballard and was recently selected to perform at the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala in 2021!

Her original cabaret piece ‘Good Grief’ won the Best New Original Work Award at the Short + Sweet Cabaret Festival in Melbourne, and was a finalist in the International Cabaret Competition.

Lebanese-born, Sydney-based Fady Kassab was the 2019 winner of Australia's most prestigious comedy competition, triple j's RAW Comedy. That performance saw him flown to Edinburgh Fringe where he was selected to feature in the Best of Edinburgh Showcase Show.
Fady made the grand finals of the Gilded Balloon’s long-running So you Think You’re Funny comedy. The most influential comedy competition in the UK putting Fady in the company of previous finalists including Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Graham Norton, Hannah Gadsby.

Patrick Golamco (aka Patrick Gee) came Runner up in the 2020 Raw Comedy Competition and has performed at the Perth Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Sydney Fringe and MICF comedy festivals. He is insightful and intelligent and is quickly gaining a much deserved name in the industry.

All of this with resident host and tracksuit enthusiast, Daniel Muggleton. His debut special ‘Let’s Never Hang Out’ aired on ABC Comedy in 2020, and he’s been hand-picked as tour support for Jim Jefferies, Steve Hofstetter & Alex Williamson. Fresh off a run of sold-out shows and 5 star reviews at comedy festivals around Australia, he’s one of the best MCs in Australia so don’t miss him in Canberra!

Show starts at 8pm at The Cultural Centre, Kambri at ANU. Bookings are essential as this will sell-out!

Early bird tickets $25, with final release $35.
