The Reefers are an unholy hybrid of traditional surf music and the rolling beats of the middle east that bring the kind of might and power to the stage that hasn't been seen since Vesuvius popped her top. Boasting members of some of the finest live acts in Melbourne, the squad has quickly generated a reputation for high energy live shows incorporating anything from sword swallower's, belly dancers, burlesque and go-go-girls, all served with a generous helping of surf, liquor, and sin. The band has filled rooms at the Espy, Yah Yah's, The Tote, near caused a riot at Torquay, done live to airs on RRR, PBS, T.V's Spick's and Specks, and held a summer residency at Melbourne's Bar Open that is still spoken about in post coital whispers.
