That's right, we're dusting off the Persians and untangling the bunting once more for Adelaide's favourite traveling backyard festival series, The Porch Sessions, returning now in its' fourth season for the summer of 16/17. With our first show featuring Son Little, Emilee South & Aidan Jazzy Jones

We transform suburban gardens for afternoons right across the summertime, filling them with live music, local food and wine, Persian rugs and bunting. This little series exists in the warmer months, where good friends sprawl out on the lawn for an afternoon, basking in the sublime counterpoint of all things Adelaide; its music, its produce, its people and its beautiful surroundings. 

Our first show of the season, is to take place in the most idyllic of backyards, located in Hawthorn, with three damn tasty acts, guaranteed to send you in a porch trance.

Headlining this delicious show is USA's Son Little:

Handsome Tours is proud to present the debut Australian tour of Son Little as he brings his wonderfully diverse sound to intimate venues across the country.

Off the back of a successful North American tour and a huge run of shows supporting Leon Bridges, Son Little will be performing in support of his self-titled debut album which he released in October 2015. The record is, in its purest form, quintessentially American music, described by Rhythms Magazine as "a striking gust of fresh air with one foot in the past, the other striding bravely into the future".

"Livingston's voice is captivating, somehow finding common ground between growling holler and sweet croon, an emotional device as much as a musical instrument" proclaimed RollingStone Australia when describing Son Little (AKA Aaron Livingston), while The New York Times said of his live show, "The music had roots, but wasn't looking back."

Son Little will also be appearing at Queenscliff Music Festival, Fairgrounds & Disconnect.

Also getting involved for this show is the most delightful of sexy blueshounds: Melbourne's Emilee South,
with this babe hollering throwback rhythm & blues, with hints of a whiskey-drenched-French summer, young love, voodoo and small-town guilt. yum.

And of course Adelaide's Aidan Jazzy Jones, an absolutely incredible guitarist and songwriter alike. This guy's fingers will be sure to get the toes tappin and jaws yappin, one of the cleverest cockatoos this side of the equator.

In case you haven't noticed, we fizz off bean bags, rugs, cushions, we have plenty for your to plant your behinds on, but feel free to bring a few more the the porch party if you fancy. Not as keen on the deck chairs, leave those bad boys for beach cricket.
