Nine-piece Soul music band The Milford Street Shakers want to share some Christmas cheer with their mate DJ Smokestack Ash.

A SEWING ROOM SOUL CHRISTMAS

Ash has been touring Europe and been based in Denmark where the weather in December offers a more traditional Christmas of snow and ice.

The Perth-born DJ is certainly not going to get that kind of weather for a local Christmas, but Milford Street Shakers band leader Dom D’Leno says the band will be going all out to share the Christmas spirit with Ash as part of their Christmas Party Extravaganza live Soul music special at the Sewing Room in Perth on Saturday, December 22.
The band performed to a sell-out audience at this Christmas show last year performing their Soul versions of Christmas songs and carols and Dom says he is expecting another sell-out.
Ash who has spun records all over the world and has played alongside the likes of Keb Darge, Jonathan Toubin, King Salami, Clairy Browne and the Bangin' Rackettes, will be performing as a special guest at the Christmas concert.
He also organises the Copenhagen Soul Weekender and has performed in Japan, UK, Germany, Spain, USA Switzerland and Sweden.
