On a night for lovers of all things 90s, Twilight at Taronga welcomes American alternative rockers The Lemonheads and long standing Aussie favourites Jebediah to the stage in 2018.

Evan Dando formed The Lemonheads in 1986, releasing punk-influenced albums and touring with an ever-changing band line-up. Over the next few years the album It's A Shame About Ray and the single 'Mrs Robinson' saw them reach a more mainstream audience until their hiatus in 1997. The Lemonheads returned in 2005 and released the covers album Varshons in 2009.

Filled with obscure nuggets, the tracks on Varshons cut a wide swath, jumping from early British psychedelic to Dutch electronica and like all good mix tapes, you never know what is coming next.

Also playing the same night and taking to the picturesque Twilight at Taronga stage for the first time are Perth four-piece Jebediah.

It's impossible for Australians of a certain vintage to imagine those late '90s summers without the delirious early Jebs singles - 'Jerks of Attention', 'Leaving Home' and 'Teflon'. In 2015 the band celebrated their twentieth anniversary with Twenty - a double album of their greatest hits and national sell-out tour.

Jebediah were mostly teenagers when they formed and still present a live performance with gusto and gratitude - paying tribute to a long lasting friendship in which the chemistry remains along with the desire to crank it big every time they hit the stage.
