Sydney indie-soulman Harry Ashton combines with a stellar septet of musicians to bring you The Harry Ashton Band - in its first ever headline show, right here in Newtown.

Ashton’s debut EP “Messages to Never Send” dropped in January 2020, it’s sold out launch show cancelled as COVID-19 plunged the world into lockdown. Next single, “Aching for You” was released in May, with airplay on Triple J’s “Roots N All” with Nkechi Anele. London’s very own Laid Bare Records called it “...a prolific, fascinating and remarkably captivating sound.”

The band’s lineup morphed throughout 2020 and played exclusive shows at Lazybones Lounge, LVL1 and The Gasoline Pony. Now, exactly a year since it’s official launch was cancelled, The Harry Ashton Band returns as a seven-piece indie-soul/RnB collective, showcasing new original material and fresh mojo to go with it.
