Growing up in the suburbs of Sydney, Mitchell Lemsing also known as 'The Happiest Kind of Sad' is an alt indie singer-songwriter, taking inspiration from artists such as Bon Iver, Clinton Kane and Alexander 23. With brutally honest lyricism and colourful melodies, THKOS has struck a chord with an audience all over the world. 

After spending most of 2021 in lockdown and using that time to write and produce his upcoming EP, The Happiest Kind of Sad is hitting the stage for his first show in 2022 with a brand new set. After his single “Smile At The Party” gained traction all across the globe, THKOS has welcomed a wave of new fans. Supported by Sydney based group “Lilas”, a 5 piece indie rock band, this will be an evening to remember!
