Fresh off a stint across Europe and the UK, The Great Emu War Casualties celebrate the upcoming release of their third single 'Uncle Uncool' (to be released shortly with UK label Aardvark Records) with special guests The Blurst and Sonori. An international band currently based in Melbourne, their music is a weird blend of off-kilter pop which celebrates the absurd and melancholic.

'Musically they have real muscle. Songs begin delicately and then glide upwards in a beautiful mass of shimmering guitars and pulsating keyboards.' - Penny Black Music

'Great modern moody alt rock sound, slick vocal performance with a great mix of live and electronic elements.' - Asian Dan

Joining them are cinematic electro-acoustic act Sonori from Katoomba, who have played alongside the likes of We Lost the Sea and Tijuana Cartel and combine elements of classical, electronic and post-rock to create 'experimental journey music you can dance to', as well as retro-futuristic dream pop artist The Blurst from Sydney, who has just released his debut album 'Psychic Crosstalk' to critical acclaim.
