 Show 1: Saturday 13 April - 7.00pm

Mic Conway's National Junk Band

Jug band blues, political satire and lunatic on-stage antics combine as a new-vaudevillian comedy cabaret.

Audiences know Mic Conway's tongue-in-cheek style from "Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band" and "Circus Oz". From Byron Bay BluesFest and Tamworth Country Music Festival, to Port Fairy and Woodford Folk Festivals to Adelaide Cabaret Festival... the National Junk Band have become festival favourites for their unique collision of fire, illusion, passion, irreverent satire, magic, singing saws, flying chooks, musical mayhem and some very funny songs.

Wielding National guitars, ukuleles, a sousaphone, Strohviol, actual garbage cans and metal sinks, these rhythm magicians are famed for their unique collision of illusion, irreverence and hilarious slapstick mayhem.

There is nothing in the world quite like Mic Conway's National Junk Band.

Show 2: Saturday 13 April 9pm

'Settin' The Woods On Fire'; A Hank Williams Tribute

Following its successful premiere in Sydney in 2018, "Setting the Woods on Fire: a tribute to Hank Williams" will be a highlight at this year's festival.

One of Australia's most dynamic and exciting classic country and western bands, CK & the 45s, will present this show. Led by country guitar wizard and singer Cam Kinsey, the band will feature a rich list of special guest singers: Abby Smith and Sophie Jones from Smith and Jones, Taya Chani, Kylie Whitney from the April Family and Matt Golotta from the Sweet Jelly Rolls all providing their own unique and entertaining interpretations of the greatest songs from the Hank Williams catalogue

The Royal hall will be a mix of bench and bar table seating and standing room.

No reserved seating available. A bar will be operating in the hall during show times.

Ticket holders to both shows will need to clear the hall after the first show and re-enter for the second show.
