Jazz Fusion

The EJT are a Sydney based jazz fusion band led by international award winning double bassist ELsen Price.

The group started during the 2020 pandemic with Elsen calling various players from around the traps you've crossed paths briefly or played regularly for a number of years, The EJT (Elsen's Jazz Thing) was created, with regular players including Bell Award winning James Ryan, Stu Vandegraaff, Montreux Jazz comp finalist Felix Lalanne, National Jazz Award finalist Casey Golden and Freedman Fellowship finalist Ed Rodrigues. This performance will feature Australian jazz legend Matt McMahon on keys. The EJT's debut album 'Gastronomy Astrology' (Rippa Recordings) was nominated for Best Jazz Album at the AIR Awards plus received 4 stars in Fine Music Magazine and 4.5 stars in The Australian
