Select Music + Mucho-Bravado presents
The Delta Riggs
Blaring with an uncompromising sonic energy, Melbourne outfit THE DELTA RIGGS have firmly established themselves in 2013 as a band that simply cannot be denied. While they apply the finishing touches to their forthcoming debut album 'HEX.LOVER.KILLER', The Delta Riggs have announced a national album release tour throughout April, with triple j favourites STILLWATER GIANTS in-support.
The Delta Riggs have converted national audiences to their explosive live set with a no-holds-barred attitude, performing recently at Big Day Out, Pyramid Rock, Festival Of The Sun and Peats Ridge Festival, and opening for the likes of Primal Scream, The Jim Jones Revue, Devin and most recently, Divine Fits at their Laneway Festival sideshow performances in Sydney and Melbourne. The forthcoming tour will see The Delta Riggs in their prime as one of the country's most enticing touring acts, as they share wares from their new album for the first time.
Committed to their DIY work ethic, The Delta Riggs have self-produced their debut album to craft a unique combination of their dark psychedelia, hostile punk and innovative bluesinfluences. The album's first single 'Rah Rah Radio' has already ignited the airplay support of national community radio and youth broadcaster triple j, with an accompanying video clip released today. The video certainly isn't your conventional introduction to the band, who opted to provide a glimpse at their sense of humour instead.
'HEX.LOVER.KILLER.' is released on April 12 through The Delta Riggs' Rah Rah Radio label (distributed via INERTIA). Their national album release tour kicks off on Thursday, April 11 in Brisbane, with Stillwater Giants supporting at all performances.
