But its with his hugely acclaimed Funk and Soul Radio Show for BBC 6 Music and DJ appearances under his Funk and Soul Club banner that Craig is making huge waves on an international level.

Craig has barely had a chance to change his socks in 2013, presenting his massively popular radio show and having been on an almost constant DJ tour - dragging his Trunk Of Funk far and wide to play for increasingly large audiences, including kicking off the Glastonbury Festival with a four-hour set, causing all manner of musical mayhem at WOMAD 2013, tearing the roof off the Soundwave festival in Croatia - as well as hosting his regular roadblock club nights in London and Manchester. Craig's tunesare guaranteed to tear the roof off any venue festival or house party in the knownuniverse with rip snorting grooves, bass drum banging, brass blaring and super sweet vocals. His unique DJ blend of Nu Yorican Funk and Disco, Afro Latin and Tropical beats mixed with Electro Jazz, Drum n Bass and Vintage flavours continues to move dance floors worldwide.

Celebrating over 25 years behind the decks, Dewbury is one of the top DJ's on the circuit having performed in over 35 countries from New York to Berlin, Singapore to San Francisco, Auckland to Stockholm. One of the original UK black music DJ's Dewbury runs the longest running club session in the world. The Brighton 'Jazz Rooms' recognised as one of the most successful sessions in club history. Russ has also developed a solid reputation as Worldwide taste maker, Live music promoter, Record compiler and Radio broadcaster.

Kerbside Collection are a hard hitting Jazz Funk and Rare Groove ensemble from the inner suburbs of Brisbane making their Sydney debut.

The band's gritty rhythm section of old school drums and fender or upright bass collide with funky Hammond organ and Fender Rhodes piano, with some tasty Jazz Guitar and Flute licks at the core. The Kerbside Collection sound harks back to the 60's and 70's Californian West Coast music of artists such as Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Chico Hamilton, Joe Sample and The Crusaders, whilst tipping its' hat to today's contemporaries keeping the 'feel' alive. The ensemble are attracting worldwide attention for their first full length album - 'Mind The Curb' released in both Australia and Japan. The LP features tight reworks of Coltrane's "Impressions", Diz's "Night In Tunisia" and George Benson's "P Park" with some strong originals in the mix. Great things are expected from this combo.

Roxie Ray Roxie has come a long way in a short time. Since launching her career with old-school, soul and funk band, Dojo Cuts, this native of Sydney, Australia, has emerged as one of the soul revival's brightest stars. In a short space of time, she has appeared on several international record releases and has performed continuously at some of the best venues Australia has to offer. Drawing from her passion of the sounds and feeling of the jazz divas of the last 50 years, Roxie's voice and presence is unique, striking and emotive.

Roxie has appeared on the UK BBC 2 Mark Lamarr Radio show and performed live for Craig Charles Funk & Soul show in the UK leading to this personal invitation from Craig for Roxie to feature live at the Basement.
