Glenn Cardier and the Sideshow featuring Rex Goh

Glenn Cardier and the Sideshow were the 'buzz' band at the Byron Bay Bluesfest last year. The two incendiary Bluesfest sets confirmed the critical acclaim Cardier has attracted since forming his powerhouse Sideshow, featuring legendary guitarist Rex Goh, in 2009.

And now, Cardier and the Sideshow are bringing it back to the Basement.

'I've been playing the Basement since the 70's', Cardier says. 'We launched our last CD Stranger Than Fiction there. It's always a special event. It's iconic.'

The Continental Blues Party

"Continental" Robert Susz (ex Dynamic Hepnotics & The Mighty Reapers -singer, harmonica player & songwriter) has assembled his latest soul/blues/downhome funk combo "The Continental Blues Party". Performing a mix of Continental Robert's compositions (including his national SMASH HIT from the 80's "Soul Kind Of Feeling") & treasures form the vaults by artists like Ray Charles, Muddy Waters, James Brown, Joe Simon, Junior Wells to name a few, they have been turning on audiences with their electrifying, soul charged, R'N'B workouts since their formation in 2007.

The Continental Blues Party will be featuring: 

"Continental" Robert Susz - lead vocals & harmonica
Illya "The Cossack" Szwec - guitar
Vito "Mr Showbiz"Portolesi - bass & vocals
Antero "Skinny Junior" Ceschin - drums & vocals 

"Continental" Robert will also have copies of his latest release "On The Soul Side" CD which he will personally sign for anyone who wants one!

Jeremy Edwards

After a busy few years with his band Dust Radio , Jeremy Edwards is now in the studio producing and playing for other artists. He has cut songs and toured with 'The Voice' winner Karise Eden and has played shows with U.S blues greats Charlie Musselwhite and John Hammond and Oz roots and blues artists Jeff Lang and Dom Turner.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Note it is not possible to join ticket holders together across ticket groups (meaning A Reserve ticket holders cannot sit with B Reserve etc).

A RESERVE Dinner & Show + Beverage Package also includes a selection of Premium Red & White Wine + Local and Imported Beers and is available by exclusive table service to A Reserve Ticket Holders from Doors to Show Time (usually 1930 - 2230). *RSA and conditions apply
