The Apprentease - Burlesque Excellence Award, aims to shine the spotlight on new talent and semi-established artists keen to refine their skills and advance their performer profile. This competition has welcomed performers from all backgrounds in this open level contest, where they are competing for their chance to win the Burlesque Excellence Award, Mentorship and Sponsored Prizes. 

There are 2 heats - Friday 27th & Saturday 28th March held at Connections Nightclub, and a State Final on the Friday 17th April 2026, held at The Rechabite. Tix available at the door (if event is not sold out). 

Doors open 7.30pm, show starts 8pm sharp. Tickets are non-refundable. 18 years + event

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Tickets. If you are attending a ticketed event, please have your tickets ready to scan on entry.

Bring ID.
The Rechabite is a licensed venue and you may be asked for a valid ID at the entrance.
Anyone unable to provide ID may be refused entry.
