The famous opening line for many an adventure, the start of a daring quest, the promise of stories yet untold. The tavern is the gathering place for keen adventures and grizzled warriors, mythical creatures and mysterious strangers alike. Adventure awaits, so who will you gather to join your party?

Returning after a SOLD OUT debut in 2026, Eva Devore has gathered a host of fantastic creatures to bring you burlesque, drag, comedy, sideshow and more, all with a fantasy flavour. Elves, fairies, armoured knights and ghastly goblins await you, but who will you bring forth on your quest?

Bookings are essential, so gather your party and roll initiative for an evening of entertainment that’s sure to be a critical hit!

This is an 18+ event.

Should you wish to combine tables via separate bookings please email team@thevanguard.com.au. We cannot guarantee that tables can be combined on the night if we haven't been informed.

Intoxicated persons will not be admitted. No thongs, steel cap boots, or spiked attire. Dangerous behaviour including Crowd Surfing, Stage Diving, Moshing and Violent Dancing is not allowed and will result in your immediate removal from this venue. Inappropriate behaviour at this venue will lead to your banning.
