Event Details

Stradbroke Season presented by TAB culminates with the jewel in our crown, Stradbroke Day.

A grand celebration will close Stradbroke Season with a myriad of flavours, entertainment set to enthral and unparalleled thoroughbred racing. Be a part of history as we witness the next winner of Queensland’s most prestigious race, the $1.5 million Group One Stradbroke Handicap.

Supporting the great sprint is the thrilling Group One J.J. Atkins, featuring Australia’s most promising young horses, in addition to the Group Two Dane Ripper and a further five black-type races, which amount to almost $5 million prizemoney on the day.

The Stradbroke Day racing programme will again feature the $1.2 million Group Two Sky Racing Q22, which will bring together horses that ran in both the Doomben Cup and Queensland Derby, sitting alongside the Brisbane Cup, which reverts back to its traditional 3200m staying distance.
