The creative chameleon, Steve Balbi, returns to The Vanguard for one night only - Friday 15 November - with very special guest Lozz Benson.

Transcending rock and pop while coalescing sentimentality and soul, Balbi promises an eclectic set of new material, featuring his latest single 'Every Living Thing', alongside reimagined favourites and out-takes lifted from a back catalogue of music that includes Electric Hippies, Noiseworks, Universe, Move Trees, and more.

Exclusive to The Vanguard, Balbi will be joined by Sydney songstress, drummer, percussionist and pianist, Lozz Benson. A noted regular at Bluesfest, Woodford Folk Festival, Sydney Festival and Melbourne Jazz Fringe Festival, Benson has performed with The John Butler Trio, Urthboy, Missy Higgins, Fanny Lumsden and Nathan Cavaleri. In the studio, Benson's credits include Paul Kelly, Steve Smyth, Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil), and Sandy Evans, to name just a few.

Navigating a wistful path from melancholy through madness, meanwhile mining a kaleidoscope of life at the margins, Balbi and Benson's exclusive appearance at The Vanguard on Friday 15 November is one show, an altogether sensory experience, not to be missed.
