Squinked Records take over the Brunswick Artists' Bar the first three Thursdays in February. Featuring a stellar lineup of local Squinked legends such as Ellis King, Carousel Club, Tristan Amadeus, Analogue Hope, Kittling and Prudns. Plus $15 meal deals! 

Thursday 17th February 2022: Kittling & Prudns

Kittling is a producer, songwriter & singer based in Melbourne, Australia. Also known as Alex to friends (but never Al). He likes a good floral shirt, gymnastics, cycling, reading non-fiction and music! Late 90s pop, 70s soul & disco, synth-wave, and anything queer. Kittling’s next single With Us is a synth-pop kiss-off: "Are we done with us?". Influenced by 70s disco, 80s synth-pop and noughties sad-banger anthems (think Robyn), With Us combines the analog warmth of a Juno 60 synthesizer and a LinnDrum with explicitly queer lyrics to create something both nostalgic and new.

Prudns is a multidisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, producer, and musician based in Naarm. Writing music since she was 8 years old, Prudns makes alt-pop songs from her bedroom. Inspired by Oklou, Caroline Polachek and Julianna Barwick, Prudns debut single 'Lies' was released in May 2021 demonstrating her strong vocals, a penchant for catchy melodies, and a love of the 80s synths
