Sparkling Sylwester (Sparkling New Year’s Eve)

PolArt Sydney 2022 is proud to put on a 'Sparkling Sylwester' (aka Sparkling NYE) with a live quintet 'Breakfast at Tiffany's performing along with a DJ playing Polish Disco Polo, to ensure a non-stop night of dancing!

After a long 4 years since the last PolArt NYE, bring a little or a lot of sparkle to celebrate the end of 2022 and bring in 2023 with family and friends!

The Roundhouse is the perfect venue to dance the night away, with a massive dance floor connected to a full-service bar and flowing out to a Beer Garden. Level 1 offers rooms for children (young and teenagers) and a balcony with amazing  sightlines over the crowd and main stage.

There will be a room for kids, a quiet room for babies, toddlers and young children that don’t make it to midnight. There is ample casual seating and tables around the venue. Reserved tables have now been allocated. Should you have any dietary requirements, and you are not a PolArt Sydney 2022 participant,  please email karolina.barry@polartsydney.com.au. Each folkloric dance group will have their own table.

Ticket price and food
The ticket price is $100 for an adult and includes a ‘pub-style’ chicken schnitzel and chips. The price for seniors is $80 and children under 12 years of age is $50, and children under 3 years and under are free.

Getting There
There are  a variety of transport options available to get you to the Roundhouse, with the light rail and bus literally stopping at the doorstep of the Roundhouse, and within 15 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.

Western Campus Car Park
There is also the Western Campus car park located on Anzac Parade next to the NIDA Theatres. This car park can be easily accessible through Western Campus Drive through Day Avenue.

Free parking is available outside 7:30am – 7:30pm Monday to Friday. However, given that it is New Year’s Eve, we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

Barker Street Car Park
Alternatively, there is the Barker Street multi-storey car park – enter via Gate 14. Free parking is available outside 7:30am – 7:30pm Monday – Friday.
