Multi-award winning artists Gina Jeffreys, Beccy Cole and Sara Storer have announced dates for what is being hailed as the concert tour of 2007. "Songbirds" is the brainchild of the girls themselves. They have been friends for some time and through the years have also guested on each others live shows and recordings, so it seemed to be a natural step for them put together a concept where they could share the stage along with some of their individual songs. Beccy, Gina and Sara are of course three of Australia's most acclaimed and successful country music singers. Between them they have 24 Golden Guitar Awards along with a haul of ARIAs, Entertainer of the Year, APRAs and certified Gold and Platinum sales awards. Audiences can not only expect to hear the hit songs from three of the most beautiful individual voices on any stage, any where, but will also be treated to some very special "trio" performances of songs chosen by the girls from their own album collections.
