Smoke & Steel is an activation series bringing art and live music to unique, heritage and natural spaces. Volume 08 brings us to She Designs Warehouse, the industrial home a boutique wedding stylist located unassumingly in the heart of Wollongong CBD. Kicking off our first event of 2023 is the inimitable and internationally acclaimed 30/70, making their final stop on their national tour in our humble town.

Hailing from Melbourne, we're blessed to welcome 30/70 as this months headliner on their 'ART MAKE LOVE' tour. Celebrating their fourth full length album with new label - old friends Energy Exchange Records. Their sound expanding far beyond its previous markers of Nu-Soul and Jazz, as it is continuously inspired by their unique coming together of truly collaborative and eccentric songwriting. A sense of knowing the light and darkness of life is embedded within this music, as each individual artist reaches into the very edges of emotion, truth, fear, love and spirit, expressing it here through their instrument with a shared passion for art to make love.

This edition of Smoke & Steel is supported by the ever infectious WEST WIND and local heavy hitters MORNING MOOOD, with a pre-party from NIGHTSET, a new project from old favourite SONNY GRIN at the forefront of these events is bringing talented visual artists into the spotlight, lovingly curated by our very own Rowena Russell. Art is FREE (from 2PM) & music (from 4PM) requires TICKETS
