I OH YOU & Frontier Touring Co present
SLAYYYTER
Australia 2023

Coming off of her 2022 headline tour in the US and Europe, I OH YOU and Frontier Touring are excited to announce the 2023 Tour Of Australia for LA based popstar-on-the-rise, Slayyyter. The US singer, who isn’t afraid to raise some hell, is currently touring alongside Tove Lo and will head down under in April and May with headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth

"I have some new music coming soon that I've been working on, and I'm so excited to debut some of these songs live for people. Touring is one of my favourite parts about being an artist so I'm excited to get back on the stage and perform for everyone! I want the shows to get more insane every time." - Slayyyter

Frontier Members gain access to the members only pre-sale on Thursday 9 February (10am local time). General public tickets go on sale on Friday 10 February (2pm local time) via frontietouring.com/slayyyter.

Slayyyter is touring with her ferocious new album, Troubled Paradise (2021) – a critically acclaimed hyperpop ensemble that signals the dawning of a new era for the self-made popstar. The album draws from the most dramatic, almost surreal, sides of pop culture – Y2K gloss, nu metal, and cheerleader chants – exemplified by the album’s lead single ‘Self Destruct (feat. Wuki)’. Other popular releases include the viral club anthem ‘Throatzillaaa’, ‘Butterflies...’, ‘Clouds’, ‘Cowboys’ and title track ‘Troubled Paradise’.

‘It’s a funny, catchy, boundary-pushing collection of songs that bring a desperately needed light to a genre whose prospects seemed extremely dark. She has risen!’Popmatters

‘Slayyyter was a superstar on arrival when her debut single ‘BFF’ dropped in 2018, but her growth is so evident here.’Dork

The retro-futuristic songstress’ debut self-titled mixtape, Slayyyter (2019), peaked at #4 on the US iTunes Pop Chart and #14 on the US iTunes Albums Chart. Singles such as ‘BFF’, ‘Daddy AF’ and ‘Mine’ snatched critical praise from Rolling Stone, NME, The FADER, V Magazine, Idolator, Paper Magazine, and more. A devout acolyte of early 2000’s pop icons such as Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, her early work is full of nostalgia – Slayyyter released a remix of Britney Spears’ ‘Gimme More’ in 2020 which now has over 7.5 million views on YouTube and also features alongside Kim Petras on Charli XCX’s ‘Click (No Boys Remix)’.

With new music on the way and her headline Australian tour confirmed for April & May, Slayyyter is gearing up for a big year in 2023!
