Fabulous Blues

This gig was scheduled for Dec 20, 2020. But.... it was postponed due to the ol C virus. New date, new year - April 18th at LazyBones with Darren Jack. Darren & Simon will bring to the stage some fabulous Blues. Taking the stage together - they'll bring you some Blues numbers, some of Simon's originals and some of Jacko's originals. PLUS! A bunch of favorite Blues covers.

Australian blues artist Simon Kinny-Lewis has performed/recorded with the cream of the blues crop including Robben Ford, Chris Cain, Andy Just (BB King, Buddy Guy) Nate Ginsberg (Herbie Hancock) and many more. Not only recognised as a virtuoso guitarist, but also as an impressive singer and songwriter. Simon’s approach has been described as a musical intersection in which tradition, modern flair and personal style are enriched by pure emotional release.

Simon recently released his seventh album entitled “Another Day in San Jose”. Recorded at Reed’s in San Jose during his 2020 California tour. The album features Blues legend Robben Ford (Miles Davis, George Harrison and more) performing on Simon's new original “Dagger Eyes ". It follows his previous albums “Catfish” & “A Day In San Jose”. Both reached #1 on The Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Charts.

Darren Jack is a seasoned vocalist and a versatile guitarist who will captivate you through his mesmerizing improvisations. His music will take you from blistering, gut wrenching blues to smooth melodies that will soothe your soul.
