Future Classic & Astral People are joining forces for a special evening with LA beat-visionary SHLOHMO, performing an exclusive Sydney sideshow whilst touring with the national St Jerome's Laneway Festival.

Lo-Fi beat maker, field recording enthusiast and WEDIDIT Collective boss Shlohmo is no ordinary producer. At just twenty one years old the experimental artist (better known as Henry Laufer) has carved a sound from psychedelic compositions sitting between Hip Hop, synth funk and abstract beatwork not just inspired - but inspiring - a generation of artists unafraid to sound a little weird.

Releasing almost exclusively on the LA-based Friends of Friends imprint, Shlohmos multiple EP's and mini-albums preceded 2011's LP ' Bad Vibes' introducing a refined aesthetic to a continually innovative sound. Remixes for the likes of Toro Y Moi, Souljah Boy, Jeremih, Little Dragon and Australia's very own Flume has allowed him to meld his space-infused weirdness to hip hop influence, whilst pushing the likes of Ryan Hemsworth and RL Grime through the 'WEDIDIT' label collective.
