Canberra based indie rock act Sesame Girl have unveiled their post-apocalyptic, love fuelled third single ‘Bored’ today, bringing balance between frustration and peace. Sesame Girl have been steadily gaining the industry’s attention since their debut single ‘Get Up’ in 2021. Freshly completing their east coast tour supporting Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers along with a series of sold out headline shows and international attention, Sesame Girl are climbing the ranks to be crowned Australia’s next domestic export.

Sesame Girl’s new record contrasts their recent release ‘Leave’, bringing a brighter light into their repertoire. ‘Bored’ expresses the frustration of longing for the past; to experience those moments of being in love for the first time once more. Taking inspiration from late 90’s-early 2000’s anthetic rock, this new track from Sesame Girl cements their ability to pull on the emotional strings of their audience. Crammed with nostalgia, yet unwittingly ‘Bored’ is a forceful reminder to not live in the past.
