Award-winning singer/songwriter (Roddy Read Award, Maldon Folk Festival, 2016) GIRL FRIDAY is launching her debut LP 'Sepia Tones' at The Yarra Hotel in Abbotsford on Sunday 18th March.
Girl Friday (Tracey Hogue) with her folk, jazz and blues sensibilities evokes a sense of nostalgia, innocence and melancholy. Her rich, soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics remind us that people have felt and sung about the same things forever and a day.
Hear all 10 beautifully crafted songs played live with her band, the Sepia Tones featuring Andrew Tanner on double bass (Vulgargrad, Zulya and the Children of the Underground), Ash Jones (Miguel Rios, Woohoo Revue) on violin along with her very own Sass Choir.
Special guest supports are Kerryn Fields and Sarah Carroll.
