On Friday, August 19, SCENES. returns to Oxford Art Factory, with none other than your favourite DJs, favourite DJs.

Moving up from Lutruwita to Naarm, Sam Alfred has quickly established himself as one of the biggest names in the local scene. Building a strong reputation and curating a signature sound that weaves through house and techno reminiscent of the 90’s. As an artist, Sam has landed himself on lineups at @pitchmusicandarts, @strawberryfields_festival , @lost_sundays and supported the likes of KETTAMA, Fjaak, DJ Boring, Patriboi69, CRUSH3D & jamesjamesjames. Sam boasts a large toolbelt of acclaimed releases on labels such as @loveaboverecords, @phenomenarecords , @spinningaround.label and @happywax_records. You are sure to find yourself dancing and moving whilst Sam takes the stage, throwing down the finest house cuts and a rare selection of techno.

To complement the sound of Sam, STÜM is a force to be reckoned with. Both on and off the dancefloor, STÜM fires a barrage of elevated energy from all cylinders. Heavy basslines and intricate melodies follow in his wake as he takes the dancefloor on a journey through his trance inspired productions and selections. STÜM performed a high energy set this year at @pitchmusicandarts, which has since landed him headline shows across Eora, Naarm and Ngunnawal Country. STÜM took the scene by storm with his iconic anthem ‘Sun Chaser’, quickly regarded as a dance floor staple across the globe. More recently with his forthcoming EP ‘Chemical Friends’, STÜM proves time and time again that he is here to show up.
 
Kicking off the night before the infamous Naarm duo, Sydney/Eora based selector WINNY is set to rock the Main Stage. With an extensive list of breaks, groovy rhythms and a whole range of bombs, WINNY is the perfect fit for the job. Jumping on lineups including @finelytuned ‘s @lostparadiseau , @skydancefestival , @chaos666__ Chaos ‘Raw As Fuck’ show, a frequent face at @sashsundays , and many more, we are in great hands.

Aside from the mayhem of the Main Room, Schnoz will bring the energy to the Gallery Room, providing euphoric and groovy sounds with his developed musical palette. Follow on with House/Techno duo GNT, this duo is sure to provide a good time. Supporting the likes of Little Fritter, Johnoo Fleming and most recently Jamie Jones, this duo is one to look out for. Closing out the Gallery, again with our recurring theme of duos for the evening, is the recently rebranded Certo. Sydney/Eora local youngins that are most certainly fit for the gig.
