Sarah Gaul returns to Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2022!

Once upon a time musical comedian Sarah Gaul dreamt of falling in love and becoming someone’s wife. After waking from a couple of nightmares, she’s wondering what else is out there. Not only for her, but any 30-something reconsidering the dreams they were sold. 

With sharp insight, razor wit and endless humour Sarah’s brand new show WIFE takes the audience on a journey designed to make them think about relationships, including the one with themselves. 

Sarah is also the star of Australian feature film HOT MESS, selected by film festivals all around the world, nominated for Best Indie Film at the 2020 AACTA Awards, named one of the best Aussie films of 2020 by The Guardian, and picked up by NETFLIX.   

As a comedian, Sarah has lived and toured internationally, including in New York, where she was a regular at Gotham Comedy Club, Club Cumming, and Broadway Comedy Club. At home in Australia, Sarah was a finalist in both the NSW Raw Comedy and the Australian International Cabaret Competition. 

She’s appeared on Tonight with Tom Ballard, stars in web series On The Fringe, which was selected for LA Comedy Festival, Copenhagen Web Fest and Pilot Light TV Festival (UK).
