Having recently supported Rita Ora on her first National Australian Tour earlier this month, Sammi Constantine reveals an eerie new track "Ropes" to add to her collection of dark pop releases. Following her latest single ‘Watch Yourself’, which received incredible support from triple j, triple j Unearthed, The Hit Network, iheart Radio, KIISS Fm, 'Ropes' will be the first single taken from her debut EP “Nervosa” set for a May 2019 release.Nervosa, meaning "the psychological addiction to a behaviour, belief or habit that affects the body via the nervous system, or the mind."
‘Ropes’ is a deeply personal and self-reflective song for Sammi Constantine, directly written about Sammi’s past struggles with anorexia, depression and her self destructive inner demons. 'Ropes' is written as a conversational statement, that demands dialogue around her struggles, in order to rid herself of destructive thoughts and birth growth and healing.
Sammi Constantine will be performing two headline shows as part of the 'Ropes' tour with Melbourne taking place on April 27th at Geddes Land Ballroom and Sydney on Friday 3rd May at the Oxford Art Gallery.
