Sammi Constantine

Sammi Constantine makes pop music that radiates strength and independence. The Central coast born Sydney-based artist is one of Australia’s most exciting pop forces. Following her bold and energetic statement release titled “Lemonade”, - the first track from her anticipated debut EP, Sammi Constantine will celebrate a new sonic direction by performing her first headline show in two years at The Lansdowne, on Thursday 8th of December. Sammi was hand picked by Rita Ora to support her 2019 "Phoenix" tour in SYD, BNE, MELB & PERTH. The AU review commented "Sammi gave a solid performance and looked incredibly comfortable on stage – definitely one to watch". Since then, Constantine has played a handful of notable shows including her SOLD OUT Headline Show at Oxford Art Factory Gallery. After a tough few years for the music industry as a whole, Sammi is bringing a brand new show to life, with her new live band.

Joining Sammi for this show are special guests, Laura Hyde & MYMA.

Laura Hyde:

Laura Hyde melts subdued electronic textures, sparse beats and infectious vocals and works it in a dark pop realm. Taking singer-songwriter styles and reimagining them through an electronic prism with alt-pop sensibilities. Her bold and reflective songwriting navigates through personal lessons and human relationships that hit on an emotional and physical level. Laura not only writes for her own project, but she shares her songwriting gift with many other artists including most recently, Ula "Gold Star" & Elle Murphy "Breathing Space" just to name a few.

MYMA:

At only 19 years old, MYMA's songwriting is mature beyond her years. Hailing from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has been applauded for her 'impressive poise', she was labelled as 'one to pay attention to' (Max Quinn) with Declan Byrne suggesting that 'we will be hearing lots of MYMA for years to come'. Her debut single, '18', is scheduled for December of 2022 and with a bevy of releases planned for 2023 and beyond.
