The 2018 SAM Awards
The South Australian Music Awards is a stand out fixture on the UNESCO Adelaide City of Music's calendar of events and will return on November 8 at the prestigious Adelaide Town Hall.
The SAM Awards exist to recognise, promote and celebrate excellence in the South Australian contemporary music industry.
Once again, the award categories will include both People's Choice Awards, voted by the public, and SAM awards, selected by a judging panel of local and national industry peers, awarded at the music industry's night of nights - the SAM Awards Gala Ceremony.
Alongside Music SA, this year's SAM Awards will be presented in conjunction with major partners Arts South Australia (through the Music Development Office), City of Adelaide & The Adelaide Town Hall, Moshtix, Australian Hotels Association (SA Branch) and beverage partners Yalumba Wines, The Hills Cider Company and Young Henrys.
Expect live performances, DJ sets, food and beverages by Adelaide Town Hall, Yalumba Wines and Young Henrys Brewery, hosted by Triple J's Zan Rowe.
The ceremony is an open event, available for anyone 18+ to attend, with cabaret style seating and dinner catered for.

Please note the final release of tickets will be 'in seated rows' in the dress circle.

The Official SAM Awards After Party will be hosted at Fat Controller. Guests will be able to take the tram from Victoria Square where they will be treated to the Tram Sessions, a live music in-transit performance presented by Porch Sessions.
Please add any dietary requirements during check out.
Vegan, Vegetarian, Lactose-Free and Gluten-Free diets will be catered for.
All alcohol is vegan friendly.
