Join Ryan Oliver and his band as he plays music from his debut EP 'Melbourne is Covered in Snow' as well as new songs from his forthcoming album.

Contrary to his melancholic and realistic approach, songwriter Ryan Oliver is an optimistic artist; a free spirited, endearing natured, deep thinker contrasted by an element of Aussie cheek. The light and shade you experience in his world is indicative of the planet around, representing the harsh reality of modern society and the complexities of everyday relationships, all taken with a grain of salt. Sonically, Ryan intertwines honest melody with spacious atmospheres, with deep connections in folk and indie-rock.

Oliver's dedication to the craft of songwriting has seen him travel the world to USA, Canada, Europe and around Australia, as well as appearing at Bigsound, Canadian Music Week, Aussie BBQ. Supports include artists like Deep Sea Arcade, Diesel, Joan Armatrading, Eagle and Worm, Big Scary and others.

Also a session/touring musician and contributor with multiple acts, Ryan has played Woodford Folk Festival, Groovin the Moo, Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Melbourne Music Week, Boogie Festival and others as well as having music featured on the FOX hit show Empire.
