Ryan Daunt Album Pre-Launch

Local Perth jazz drummer Ryan Daunt presents a preview of his upcoming second album, which will be recorded in March and released later this year in July. Ryan is well known for his work with WAM song of the year nominees MELVE, Gemma Farrell Quintet, Tim Voutas Quartet, ARDENT Trio and The Island Trio.

Drawing influences from artists such as Avishai Cohen, Tigran Hamasyan, Hiromi, E.S.T, Tingvall Trio, Benedikt Jahnel Trio and more, Ryan Daunt’s original music is a unique blend of styles, containing elements of jazz, contemporary and classical music. Expect rich harmonic landscapes, complex rhythmic interplay, captivating melodies and exciting improvisations from the Ryan Daunt Trio.

Joined by National Jazz Award finalist Nick Abbey on bass and WAAPA graduate Tristan Wills on piano, tonight will be a show not to be missed!
