ARIA Award Winner and Hall of Fame inductee Russell Morris will bring the songs and stories of his Australiana trilogy to music lovers across the country including a show at Mindil Beach Casino & Resort (formerly SKYCITY Darwin) on Friday 12th April 2019.

Over the past five years, Russell has created and released three albums of blues and roots music that pertains to some of the iconic characters, events and moments in Australian history.

After claiming an ARIA Award in 2013 with his chart-topping release Sharkmouth, which became the highest-selling Australian album of 2013, Russell received a nomination for his follow-up album Van Diemen's Land (2014). His final release in the trilogy, Red Dirt - Red Heart claimed the 2016 ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album.

Since mid-2016, Russell has been making headway in the United States, with his Sharkmouth album released in the United States and gaining traction at US blues and college radio. He also performed at Nashville's Americana Music Festival and has toured America in support of Sharkmouth.

Music lovers, industry and critics alike have praised all three installments of Russell's Australiana trilogy, which see the artist return to his early influences of American Blues & Roots.
