RILEY PEARCE ANNOUNCES NATIONAL TOUR AND NEW EP
Riley Pearce has just announced national headline tour dates this February including two shows supporting The Waifs as part of Twilights At Taronga. The tour will be in support of brand-new music from Riley scheduled for release early next year.
Riley flies to Byron Bay this week to record his new EP with indie-folk maestro Garrett Kato. As well as being a successful solo artist himself, Kato has produced for the like of Ziggy Alberts, Kyle Lionheart and Pierce Brothers.
Melbourne and Sydney shows will be supported by Ruby Gills with Perth supports still to be announced. Tickets go on sale 11am AEST this Friday the 30th of November.
“I'm heading into the studio this December recording with Garrett Kato in Byron Bay. I wrote most of these songs whilst touring through Europe and living out of a van. They’re all very much stripped back and I was listening to a lot of music that wasn’t overly complex but had a nice “real” vibe to it. I hope these intimate songs really connect with people and I can't wait to play them live and solo for the first time this February.” – Riley Pearce
