M.A.S (Melbourne Amplified Strings) are a newly formed string trio dreamed up by Xani Kolac (violin), Biddy Connor (viola) and Anita Quayle (cello).  Between them they have performed with the likes of Kate Ceberano, Jens Lekman, Gossling, Evelyn Ida Morris and many more. 

Over four concerts for 2019, M.A.S will present new works for amplified string trio as well as collaborating with special guest artists on unique arrangements of covers and originals.

RHYTHMS is the second concert of 2019 featuring special guest artist and RnB vocalist THANDO.  Utilising live looping, electronic effects and laptop M.A.S will perform two sets of exciting and exhilarating pop/contemporary string music celebrating rhythmic strings of old-school RnB and modern pop.
