In December last year the REWIND crew took you on an unforgettable trip down memory lane to the years of 2000 through to 2008, which had many of you asking for more ... so when the opportunity arose to put on another party, we could hardly say no, but this time we dug a little deeper and searched a little wider… 

Back in 2012, the Hard Dance scene in Adelaide had stagnated. Numbers were down and atmosphere had died off since the peak years of the early ‘00s …. Enter ANDY WHITBY at the Masif Hard Dance Icons.

Playing his first ever set in Adelaide (and struck down with a virus only hours before), Andy soldiered on to tear the roof off of the old HQ, bringing a presence & vibe to this day that has been unrivaled on the main stage & on his return gigs in 2013 & 2014, he cemented himself as the new crowd favorite, bringing that much needed breath of fresh air we all knew the scene needed.  

It’s been 5 years since we could get him back, far too long between drinks we reckon, but we still get the calls constantly for his return, so here he is. You know this one is going to be extra special... 

Rewinding back even further to the late 90’s and early 00’s, there was a little club night at Heaven called Chemistry (on a Thursday night if you can believe it) – that was regularly pulling 1000+ heads and bringing you some of the biggest names in the business. The main driving force behind this was none other that DJ KONTROL. We’ve been asking him for this set for a long time now, but the timing was never right, but that time is now. If there was anyone who was better equipped to execute the perfect Chemistry anthems set, it’s none other than the man who knew it better than most!

FINALLY – a MR S Freeform set! You’ve been asking, we’ve been asking, and we’ve all been waiting. Adelaide’s master is in for the late shift so book the next day off of work – this is one not to be missed! 

Also on board are Fresh FM icons DJ Ben & L8’s, who are celebrating 10 years since their 400th and final show on the airwaves, as well as the Generation Hard boys Gootz and Angel, who’ll be dusting off their vinyl and upping the BPM to the days when they first burst onto the scene alongside your Rewind residents Damage & Submission, with everyone’s favorite MC and local legend, Maestro D.
