RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY PRESENTS: TALK TO THE SEA

AN AMBIENT EVENING AT SYDNEY HARBOUR WITH ITALIAN PIONEER GIGI MASIN

An early pioneer of ambient electronica, Gigi Masin was elevated from cult status when Amsterdam label Music From Memory issued a retrospective of his deeply emotive music titled Talk To The Sea in 2014. Masin has since collaborated with Red Bull Music Academy alumnus Jonny Nash and Young Marco as Gaussian Curve, issued a joint LP with Tempelhof and reissued his debut album via his own label, The Bear On The Moon. In what promises to be a magical evening at Bradley's Head Amphitheatre, Gigi Masin will conduct a site-specific performance inspired by the Sydney Harbour environment, followed by a set from Gaussian Curve and support from Tako and Jamie Tiller. Set against a stunning backdrop of city lights from across the harbour, Talk To The Sea will be a beautifully meditative and soaring experience.
