Michaela Jayde Celebrates Aretha Franklin

The Toff welcomes Michaela Jayde on Saturday, 8th September for this very special evening to celebrate one of this world's greatest voices, Aretha Franklin. Together with her incredible 8-piece band, Michaela will be performing some of the songs that helped make this iconic powerhouse artist a household name across multiple generations.

Crowned as the undisputed Queen of Soul (aka Lady Soul), Aretha's career spanned six decades, having made her mark as a pioneer for soul music even from a young age. With a voice that seemed to have no limitations, she dominated multiple genres, and the heavy influence from her gospel roots evidently became the backbone of the strength and freedom with which she sang. Aretha's ability to bewitch audiences with her fearless sense of power and emotion earned her numerous accolades, including 18 Grammy awards and a No.1 spot on Rolling Stone's "Greatest Singers of All Time" list. Ms Franklin was also the first female to ever be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Every time she sings, she delivers unforgettably moving performances reminiscent of the emotion and vitality of artists such as Aretha.
