Queen Magic and Silentjay & Jace XL are joining forces to celebrate the announcement to play the RBMA stage at Splendour this year and a couple of forthcoming releases before the end of the month.

Producer/vocalist Queen Magic is the solo project of Nick Mulhall, creating a seemingly effortless combination of smooth vocal melodies, jazz-fueled production, and the warmth of neo-soul.

Since his debut late last year, Queen Magic was quick to receivie props from Outkast's Big Boi and be named by London tastemakers STAMP THE WAX as 'One To Watch' for 2015. He has since shared the stage with Hiatus Kaiyote, Taylor McFerrin and Young Magic.

Queen Magic is making the trip back to hometown Melbourne from L.A for his debut headline performance.

Producer/multi-instrumentalist Silentjay teams up with fellow Hiatus Kaiyote BV, singer/song-writer Jace XL in this hazed nostalgic, futuristic-throwback to high school R&B/soul.

Born only a week apart, Jay and Jace had similar musical upbringings, being exposed at early ages to the schools of jazz & soul music. The result of the collaboration is a juxtaposition of futuristic/ethereal worlds created by Silentjay and the traditional soul-crooner stylings of Jace XL, encapsulated in sonic landscapes reminiscent of nineties r&b.

The duo's debut performance was screened live to the world on the infamous Boiler Room and have been performing alongside the likes of Taylor McFerrin & Flying Lotus since, as well as a National Australian tour with sonic family Hiatus Kaiyote, Kirkis & Remi. The highly anticipated debut EP from the project is dropping in July this year.
