A lot of drinking, soul-searching and the decision to stop worrying about it all and just write some giant fuck-off rock songs.
'We Don't Care' is the Polish Club's latest single from second album 'Iguana' to be released on June 7, and joins previous tasty slice, 'Clarity', which has now become the blueprint for their revitalised, wall-to-wall sound.
The track marks a definitive moment for the band, somehow still managing the trick of sounding exactly like Polish Club, yet distinctly different.
"I think we're forcing ourselves to do something that isn't our first instinct but is creatively something we want," says frontman and guitarist Novak. "We're not trying too hard to make it super cool or whatever. I don't really care about that anymore."
With a whole new album's worth of new music to play with, they're touring the country with a whole new set on their biggest tour yet. Ready your ears for a brasher, more honest and completely levelled-up Polish Club.
Polish Club have partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go to Cancer Council and their work supporting families affected by cancer, speaking out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empowering people to reduce their cancer risk, and finding new ways to better detect and treat every cancer.
