After announcing their breakup in early 2020, Pemberton were slated to play one final show in April before COVID came along and decided that that wasn’t going to be able to happen.
With 2021 on the horizon, the five-piece have finally decided to put on their last performance in January at Lion Arts Factory, and they’re bringing along a bunch of friends in Turn South (VIC), Hey Harriett and Pelvis to send them off with a bang.
The band will be performing material from their 2018 album “Maybe I’m a Friend That Stuck Around Too Long” and their final EP “How to Make the Most of Starvation” which will be released on January 22nd, featuring the already released “Eulogy Singer” and second single “Burn It” which will be coming out on New Year’s Day.
We would like to acknowledge that this event will be taking place on stolen Kaurna Land. We pay our respects to all elders past, present and emerging.
