Formed by band leader/guitarist/producer Jules Peet (Old Blood, Sad King Billy and ex Southern River Band) and vocalist Tony Papa-Adams (Old Blood) the outfit is the premiere partnership from two of the Perth scene's biggest souls.

Like a hot bowl of gumbo the four-piece combine influences of southern soul, delta blues, desert rock and west coast swagger to keep their audiences guessing, moving and feeling through an ever-evolving experience. Papa-Adams’ voice roars, cries and whispers audiences into the palm of his hand whilst Peet’s guitar weaves through the chaos, steering the band through deep swampy moods to galloping grooves. Every show is different and it’s no wonder crowds keep coming back for more.

Papa-Adams’ and Peet’s previous work has seen them appear at coveted festivals; West Coast Blues and Roots Festival, Wave Rock Weekender, RTRFM’s In The Pines, Blues at Bridgetown as well as being awarded West Australian Music’s (WAM) Best Blues and Roots Act two years running in 2016/17 for their work with Old Blood. The new act have been holding a Sunday night residency at Fremantle's best new live music venue Honky Tonk Blues, where the boys will be playing their hearts out til midnight.

With new music and bolder shows on the horizon in 2024 Papa Peet continue to beat a path into the hearts and ears of Australian music appreciators as known favourites or an exciting discovery for those that love an old sound with a new feeling.
