A well-known force in underground bass in Aotearoa New Zealand for some time, Paige Julia is now being embraced by the global music community as one of the very profound artists emanating from the south pacific island’s thriving Drum and Bass scene. Flying in from Wellington, she plays her only Sydney gig on a maiden Australian tour.      

                 

A regular heavyweight performer at festivals and clubs around Aotearoa, with her tribalistic dark funk sound, she makes an artform of navigating the grey between Jungle, Dubstep and Halftime, let’s also throw some techno and breakbeat in for good measure.

                       

With a number of prominent labels passionately embracing her sound, including 1985 Music, Unchained Recordings and Deep Dark & Dangerous, she continues to gain momentum. As an expert DJ and performer across a very wide bass-music spectrum expect to be taken on a proper Saturday night nocturnal expedition.
